I was never close to her but I know people who were best friends with her. She had a very strong personality, and an attitude of “I don’t care what anyone thinks, I live my life for me.” According to friends and family, she loved to dance and be happy. She recently tweeted that if it’s anything she wants to be remembered for, it’s the way she treated people. </p> <p>The above photo displays the last few remarks made by the girl who tormented her to the point of suicide. </p> <p>My town is literally broken in two. My heart hurts for those who are suffering.</p> <p>How can humans treat other humans like this? HOW? Bullying of any form is completely unacceptable. RIP Sandy. </p> </blockquote> <p>Many of my friends were close with her also, iv’e met her only a few times. This should not only be a wake up call, but a reason for young people to be more unified and learned to care for each other. I know how it feels to be bullied and put down for every small aspect of my life, I too have dished out many hurtful words to other people, none this harsh that I can recall, but as iv’e grown I learned how bad those words still hurt me. Girls especially have a problem with this. Words are a double edged sword, even years after being bullied I still hold on to the bitterness that those people caused me. Not only does it cause the one you are bullying bitterness, but it also causes yourself bitterness to hold onto hate like that. You may not see it not, but hate builds up and hardens your heart.</p> <p>Until people learn to treat their neighbors as they would like to be treated, we will keep killing people with our words, wether it be physical or us killing their spirits. It is honestly so evil to want someone to feel self hatred about themselves, to feel unloved. Wishing the worst on people is very evil. Its not ok to think that its alright to point out others flaws and put them down for the way they live wether you think its right or wrong. Criticism should only be said in love, otherwise it is a very self righteous way of thinking. Being self righteous will get you nowhere.</p> <p>Also, whoever may be reading this, its not ok to put down this girl who bullied her. What goes around comes around, but also treat your enemies with love, don’t fight hate with revenge. Wish for this person to be changed, not be punished. Im sure she will feel guilt to no end. Forgiveness is hard, but is the key to a pure heart. ok my rant is over.</p> </blockquote> <p>We were friends through middle school and her playful and creative attitude was unbeatable. She will be missed. I was also friends with Alyssa and I never thought she could be so cruel and I don’t believe she ever thought her words could make such an impact.</p> </blockquote> <p>Sandy and I went to the same school for only a year but when I heard the news I was devastated. Such a sweet, loving girl she was. Let this be a lesson to everyone who sees this post- always be kind to everyone. <em>Always</em>. You did not deserve this, Sandy.
